Ahlam
Hello. My name is Ahlam. I’m from Yemen. I was born and raised in a small village. When I lived with my family, my life was very happy. I had chickens and rabbits. My family owned small agricultural terraces which i worked on as a little girl. I helped gather coffee and pick green beans. I ran around and played with my friends in the fields. My mom cooked fresh bread in the Tanoor oven which
is like a fireplace. At that time in Yemen, there was no gas. My mother was a very nice person. When my Dad died, my mom became my mother and father. From that point on, she had a tough job. Thank you Mom.
